Hyderabad: T-Hub, India’s startup incubator, unveils the launch of the semiconductor cohort 2 within the AIC T-Hub Foundation program. In collaboration with Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) and NITI Aayog, this initiative aims to nurture and amplify promising semiconductor startups, fostering innovation and entrepreneurial prowess within the sector.
The AIC T-Hub Foundation program, in visionary partnership with AIM, has already witnessed success with cohorts focused on healthcare, mobility, and sustainability. This newly launched semiconductor cohort is set to further enrich India's technological landscape by providing comprehensive support to 10 selected startups over a duration of 6 months. Notable among the selected startups are FaceIntel Systems, Clupav Scientific Pvt Ltd, Deep Grid Semi, Sego Automobile Solution Pvt Ltd, Spidex Technologies Pvt Ltd, Geocon, Chipex Technologies Pvt Ltd, and Zealy Smart System.
This dedicated cohort will concentrate on pivotal areas such as Chip-level and Systems development for Telecom, IoT, AI, and Automotive. Selection criteria encompass product innovation, patent strength, technological advancements, and the founding team's experience. The 6-month program will comprise group sessions, mentor meets, investor demo days, and market access mixers. Startups will receive comprehensive support including MPW (Multi-Project Wafer) assistance, EDA (Electronic Design Automation) tools, access to T-works prototyping labs, and networking opportunities with potential investors and customers.

The cohort launch event featured speakers including Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary, Information Technology & Industries and Commerce, Government of Telangana, as well as industry leaders like Dr. Satya Gupta, Navin Bishnoi, Nazir.S, Dr. Manoj Kumar, and Padmaja Ruparel.

The AIC programs have supported over 150 startups with 8+ crore in funding and an extensive network of 300+ mentors. AIM's initiative aims to foster an innovation ecosystem by providing startups with the necessary infrastructure, mentorship, seed capital access, and industry partnerships crucial for their growth and sustainability.
